Announcement on the Official Billing for MPS Screencapturing and Animated Screenshot Generation Features
The MPS video screencapture and video animated screenshot features will officially start charging from October 1, 2023. The specific pricing and billing rules are as follows:
Screencapturing
MPS can perform screencapture processing on videos. Using the screencapture feature will incur costs, which are settled based on the accumulated number of video screencaptures on that day.
The screenshot files generated by video screencaptures are stored in the Cloud Object Storage (COS). For related costs, please refer to COS Pricing.
Using the screencapture feature will incur costs, with the billing unit being: USD/Thousand.

Billing details
Billing formula: Screencapturing fees = The number (thousand) of screenshots taken x Unit price (USD/1,000 screenshots)
The number of screenshots is calculated each day and is rounded up to the nearest thousand.
Payment method: Postpaid.
Billing cycle: Daily. The fees incurred each day are billed and deducted from your account balance between 12:00 and 18:00 the following day.
Animated screenshot generation
MPS can take animated screenshots from a video. Using this feature will incur animated screenshot generation fees.

Billing details
Billing formula: Animated screenshot generation fees = Screenshot duration (minutes) x Unit price (USD/minute)
Each screenshot generation task is billed only once. Screenshot duration is rounded up to the nearest minute.
Payment method: Postpaid.
Billing cycle: Daily. The fees incurred each day are billed and deducted from your account balance between 12:00 and 18:00 the following day.
The effective date of this price adjustment is October 1, 2023. Please pay attention to the new billing method and balance changes, and make timely business adjustments.
